The last week I thought about some things I want to get ready before I start with generating levels. One of this things were collectable/consumable items.

Collectable items are going to be items the player can wear like clothing or armor. But you only can wear one item at a time. Those items manipulate the players stats like armor, damage, moving speed and health. Not only will every item have a unique style but also unique effects on the player.

In contrast to are the consumable items. Those will be mainly potions the player can consume. I thought only restoring health will be a bit boring, so I made some plans to include potions with an effect over time. Those will also boost the stats of the player but don’t last a distinct amount of time.
